2.3.9 coming soon

We're about to release the version 2.3.9 of FreeMarker soon. It'll be a release that adds few minor features to 2.3.8, most notably support for accessing public fields of classes as well as JDK 5.0 enumerations from templates. Plus there are few miscellaneous bugfixes in less used areas of the codem, namely Rhino support and the remote debugger. The reason we're delaying the release a bit is to get some feedback on the remote debugger fixes first - there is someone out there trying to write an Eclipse IDE plugin on top of that.

Not soon enough, I'm afraid. Seems like all of us who'd be able to roll out the distro just can't find time to do it for a while now.
